Confused citizen

It’s been some time that I blogged, I always wonder why dreams keep popping? Is it to inspire you? Give you new ideas? And why some dreams repeat? There are some times I have dreamt and that actually happens in few days, you may realize that what is happening is today was foreseen in your dream sometime. Sometimes, I feel that I am left out of crowd because I can’t sing. Is singing is something that is mandatory art that everyone should learn? Honestly, I get bogged down because of attitude that people have about music. I love music as much as others do and truth is not every song impresses me, it’s the lyrics which impresses me most of the time.

These days few issues keeps bothering me, this hype of outsourcing, making few bucks working in night and giving a false impression to everyone that I am happy doing this job. Why have we become slaves to third world countries? We always blame our country for poverty, population and unemployment. There are many countries where man power is a problem like Canada. It’s just that we are not using the man power right way. Why is our country lacking in research and development? It’s because we have always been parrots to recite what is there in textbook. Let’s image our universities having incubation centers who would prepare future scientists, Govt. should fund the projects done by our students. I know poverty is our biggest enemy. Every multinational bank wants to exploit this country. We have been looted by everyone from the times of babar, Columbus and now exploitation by organization for cheap labor. We still feel India is improving because we have brands like levi, lee and what not! Most of people are sleeping with ignorance. I don’t blame Govt. I blame every parent of this nation who wants their child to study medicine and technology. Don’t they understand technology and medicine is a subset of pure science? Leave science now people around us think studying arts and commerce is for someone who scores fewer marks in schools. Days are not far where would have medicines and computer hard disk for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We also have another set of crowd who wants to use terrorism to foster the growth of their religion this country. There is another religion who wants to sponsor the education and raise funds to improve the living standards of people which will result in conversion. Another religion which is struggling to keep up the culture and indigenousness.

All I can say is “Krishna nee begane baro… comes back as ……..”

Unconditional love

once had a friend who grew to be very close to me. Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: "You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love. "
This was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds.

This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love... They try to posses it, they demand, they expect ... and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you. For love is meant to be free, you can not change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.

Give and don't expect. Advise, but don't order. Ask, but never demand. It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love.To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring."

Books

Recently I read this book "Tuesdays with moorie" which actually touched me... In fact the last book which really influenced me was this book by S.L. Byrappa named "SAARTHA". I would proudly recommend this book to anyone.

I know you guys should be thinking why am I talking about this book just out of the blue with no reason.. Yep, recently before coming to Delhi I patched up with my old friend "Aarti". It's the feeling that you have not spoken to your school friend with whom you used to eat, drink and study and you suddenly meet him/her... this feeling is just great..

I know I did some mistakes during that break up but lemme tell you she has a bad temper.... i can still remember that stare she gave me when I said 'all the best'... that was scary...

All the people who didn't wish me on birthday you will sure receive a 9 years of bad luck... My curse...(kidding)..Well I enjoyed my birthday with lotta goodies and gifts :) I missed my family though..For the next two and half months, I would be working like a human (9 to 6 - central govt timing), so I have started gyming and sure it has made a difference.

I am also adding this inspirational story that i got :

Inspiring philosophy

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in from of him.

When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

When done he asked the class if they thought the jar was full.

They agreed it was.

The professor then picked up a box of small pebbles and poured them into the jar.

He shook the jar lightly so that the pebbles rolled around and filled the gaps between the gold balls.

Again he asked the students if they thought the jar was full.

They once again agreed and said it was.

Next the professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course the sand filled up the remaining space between pebbles and golf balls.

He asked the class once more if they thought the jar was full to which they unanimously replied "yes"

The Professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the desk and added them to the jar filling any remaining space.

"Now" said the professor, " I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life."

"The golf balls are the important things – Your Family, children, health, religion, friends and passions."

"Things that if everything else were lost and only they remained your life would still be full."

"The Pebbles on the other hand are matters like your house, job and car. "

"The Sand is everything else. All the small stuff."

"If you put the sand in first you will have no room for the Golf balls or pebbles. The same goes with life.''

"If you spend all your time on the small stuff, you won't have room for the important things in life."

"Pay attention to the things that are critical to you happiness."

"Play with your children"

"Take your partner out to dinner"

"Have a medical check up"

"There will always be time to clean the house and fix the car."

"Set your priorities and take care of the golf balls first. The rest is just sand."

One of the Students at this point raised her hand and inquired what the Coffee represented.

The Professor smiled. "I'm Glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there is always room to have a cup of coffee with a friend."

Going home

This sixteenth i am going home for 3 days, It's indeed a special occasion for me as my parents would be celebrating their 25th Anniversary... I haven't told them that i am going to be there as it is a surprise visit. I am thinking to arrange a party at kamat... let's see how it goes.

Also, I am quite confused whom to meet and whom not to; as I would be there only for 3 days... I just have half a day to do all my shopping and packing the baggage. Quite excited and also tensed as no one is here at office to back me up with the work I do..

God father is going to be at SF the same time and he would be back after a week.. Charu is would not have any one to accompany her for coffee and so is the same with my weekend food friend neha..

I am very much upset about Bangalore challengers (My fav dravid team) not making good impression at IPL. I am buying SLR camera so that i can start my photography (well... it's just amateur) back again..

more once i come back...

Delhi - Heigths

It's been 6 months i have been in Delhi... came here with lotta dreams to achieve and indeed it has been great journey so far... Initially felt like an alien and now I am a part of this great city who doesn't want to go back..

This is my first blog and i want to talk about few frens who have been close to me, helped me and listen to all the crap in 6 months... I want to talk about my 1st fren vishwas... met him at CP and indeed became so called "frens foreva", thanks a ton bhavya. To let you he was my school mate and neither of us remember that. Anyways, that's not what i want to talk..In last 2 months after getting "black horse(avenger)" from Bangalore. I have traveled Delhi extensively...none the less most of the time with vishwas...Sad that he is going back this 16th.

In midst of all these...being a coffee freak I met harish at CCD East of kailash... if you guys are some where close to east of kailash, I solely recommend his "double shot cappuccino", believe me he his the master of it!!! He is a true gentle man who has a flair for customer service. Very happy to say he is my fren.

Now i wanna talk about my 2 office frens, One is my boss "Vikas aurora".. He is the indian version of "Marlon Brando-Vito Corleone". He made sure that i don't miss my dad. These days charu keeps reminding that.... charu is my other fren at office, you can in fact call her as my "coffee fren". We make sure that we drink at least 4 cups of coffee together even though our work timings don't sync...

All together i am enjoying my delhi life... "delhi - heights".
